Offset printing in gravure presses is one of the printing techniques. The actual print image is characterized by direct contact with the version and the paper. The ink attached to the plate is a transfer (offset) to an intermediate transfer member, such as a rubber blanket, for printing on a printing material, such as paper, called offset. Since most offset printing is done by lithography (lithography), lithography is now referred to as offset. For short, it is often referred to as "offset" and "off"".
